Wayne Cable is a Corporate and Advertising photographer specializing in Hospitality, Portraits, Architecture, Interior Design, and Lifestyle. Based out of Chicago, Illinois, Wayne covers the United States and beyond.
Wayne’s love of travel and exploring has informed Cable’s hotel and hospitality photography, where Wayne has photographed for The Peninsula Hotels, Hyatt, Four Seasons, Fairmont Hotels, Langham Hotels, Marriott, and Hilton brands.
A well known Chicago Architecture photographer, Wayne has worded to create architectural photography with many architecture, interior design, product manufacturers and real estate firms
Cable has received numerous awards for his photography. In 2025, Wayne received Architizer’s Vision Awards Special Mention Achievement for Architectural Photography.
Wayne has also received a 2026 Black & White Spider Award for his architectural detail photograph of Zaha Hadid’s Tribeca residential building. Additionally, Cable has received Communications Arts Photography Annual Award, Graphis Photography Annual Recognition, and several awards in APA Contests.
Wayne is a member of APA and AIAP (American Photographic Artists + Association of Independent Architectural Photographers. Cable’s photographs are contained in permanent collections of The Art Institute of Chicago, The Museum of Contemporary Photography, The Chicago History Museum and The Museum of Modern Art.
Wayne worked photographing a personal project that documented the city of Chicago during the lockdown, which was was featured in Chicago Architect Magazine and was a Lucie Awards 2020 finalist.
